Tim began his career in radio in Adelaide at 5DN, before moving to the country, then to SA FM, where he became Production Manger, culminating in winning the Australian Commercial Radio ‘RAWARD’, for Best Technical Production in 1984. A move to Audiobrien Recordings in Sydney followed, then to Network 10 as Senior Promotions Audio Producer. Radio beckoned again, with a move to 2DAY FM as Production Manager, before moving to Melbourne as Production Manger of Triple M.
Since then, Tim has been in senior positions at AAV Melbourne, in their inflight entertainment division, working with Qantas, Ansett, Virgin Australia, Gulf Air and Vietnam Airlines. Tim is currently Victorian State Manager for Silver Trak Digital, and has had a long association with Community Radio, as on air presenter, music programmer and in production, and is proud to be part of Cairns FM 89.1.
