The songs will often be ones that are familiar, but not too familiar, and they could be ones that you have not heard for quite some time. All interspersed with a breezy and cheery commentary on the music!  

The Week With Brett Olds is a No Holds Barred Current Affairs Show where Brett chats about all controversial as a straight shooter.

So much of what gets recorded never gets heard on commercial radio, but this program atones for this for a couple of hours every weeks. Unplayed B sides - often where the artist really lets themselves loose with something a bit risky in the marketplace as an a side - overlooked album tracks, songs that were hits but have been lost in the mists of time, and songs that never were hits at all - there's millions of them out there and every week I spotlight a few that have not had their due. Just as long as I think that they will engage the listener on the first hearing of songs that have not been played to death, but are played only on Off the Beaten Tracks.

So much going on the in the world, both home and abroad, and making sense out of it all is a challenge! This is the program where i - Dr Brian - provide my individual and individualistic viewpoint on the latest events, trying to put them into the broader picture. I have ruffled feathers many a time, which in some ways is the idea. I hope that I inform, though at times I may infuriate, but you will always know Where I Stand.

Alan Searle began as a radio presenter at Cairns FM89.1 in early 2016. As an avid Chill out music lover Alan created “Cruising With Big Al” The Chill Out Wizard of Oz, for his radio show. This genre is where acoustic meets digital and analogue glides into electronic. The modern chill out music now incorporates vocals and instruments into its arrangements, bringing a complex and rich overlay into today’s easy listening music of the 21st century. Tune in and settle back while you listen to some of the finest singers the world has to offer as they weave their golden threaded voices through a tapestry of melodic, rhythmic and beat sounds.
