Jo Mojo – THE CROWN CHAKRA EXPERIENCE

Written by on August 24, 2022

Have you ever had moments where pure inspiration has come to you, in a way that awesome ideas flow through your thoughts easily? The kind of inspirational moments where you have to write key words down, otherwise they’ve gone as quickly as they come…

Are you familiar with experiencing epiphanies or revelations or realizations? Maybe you have had this undeniable feeling that you ‘know’ something to the core of your soul, even though you don’t understand how you ‘know’ it? What creates this experience? According to Albert Einstein – “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics”.

The chakra system is considered to be ancient and mysterious in origins with one common denominator – acknowledgement that it is a means by which we are able tune in to universal energy. Our idea of where the concept of chakras originated and what they represent to us is a reflection of the information source we draw from. It has been said that the modern day concept of chakras derived from the tantric traditions and teachings that were flourishing in the 800’s CE in Northern India. The sanskrit word ‘chakra’ literally translates to wheel or disk. In tantric yoga, meditation and ayurveda, this term refers to wheels of energy throughout the body. The 7 major chakras, which are most commonly referred to within the ancient chakra system, are considered to have their own unique qualities that facilitate the transduction of energy through the auric field.

The crown chakra, known as sahasrara in sanskrit, is at the top of the head, the brow chakra in between the brows, the throat chakra at the throat, heart chakra in the middle of the chest, solar plexus chakra near the navel, sacral chakra near the reproductive area and base chakra near the base of the spine. It has often been said that our physical body, physical objects and the physical environment around us vibrates at an energetic frequency, creating a resonance or a vibrational pulse. This emanation is known as the ‘auric field’, which has been described as a distinct ‘atmosphere’ or ‘quality’.

It is understood that there are many connecting energy systems that act as transducers, converting universal energy / vital force through auric field layers to the physical body, physical objects and our physical environment, and vice versa. The energetic qualities of chakras as well as the transduction of energy through the auric layers may influence our behaviours, perceptions, physical states or illnesses we may experience.

It is also understood that when all our 7 major chakras are vibrating or activated at their optimum level they work rhythmically together, allowing the vital force/universal energy to flow freely. Balanced characteristics of the crown chakra may include having a broad understanding, being open minded, thoughtful, inquisitive, analytical, aware and have a sense connection to everything. Some of the emotions of the crown chakra may include loneliness, bliss, confusion, selfishness, scepticism, exhaustion, fascination, gratitude, inspiration or sense of purpose.

Chakras are known to have their own unique vibration, which may be understood as balanced, over active, under active or dormant. It has been said that their unique vibrations interact with each other and that the crown chakra helps to regulate their interaction. If the energy in your crown chakra is dormant or under active you may find it difficult to learn, be rigid in your beliefs, be sceptical, feel alienated from others or be materialistic and selfish.

If the energy is over active you may obsess with religion or spirituality and impose it on others, be excessively intellectual and analytical or experience confusion around where you fit in with the world. Perhaps our biggest challenge is stepping into the space of self-responsibility, becoming more aware of ourselves in how we are showing up in the world in each moment. Observing ourselves in our daily interactions and referring to the 7 major chakras as a guide, may help us acknowledge different areas within our psyche we can further refine.

I am gifting my simple yet effective technique for supporting the crown chakra to any one who would like to receive it, I invite you to contact me and I will send it to you.

Namaste x
